According to third-party traffic data, dating site OkCupid.com joined the Million People per Month Club (Million Club) in January, 2009.
Last month, Compete.com reported that OkCupid had 1,009,937 unique visitors in January. This is an impressive:
- 17% increase from last month
- 103.7% increase from last year

Dating site SeekingArrangement.com recently fixed a major security hole that exposed private negotiations between sugar daddies and babies.
Apparently, the security hole:
- allowed anyone to view private conversation threads between members
- made it possible for non-members to identify members
- existed since the site started two years ago (!)

- was launched in 1998 (reached 10 year milestone)
- depended on premium membership revenue (until now)
