The Good
Lavalife.com was open with their prices (registration not required to view price list).
There were only a handful of profiles in my area but two were really nice.
The Bad
Registration was a bit of a hassle (a lot of required fields that could not be skipped).
The site navigation was not very intuitive. Navigation menus seemed crowded and had small text.
Too many new windows were opened throughout the site (not a fan of new windows being opened unless necessary).
Photo quality and sizing varied greatly (with some really badly sized and/or low quality photos). More quality control in this area would be nice.
The Ugly
There were way too many animated banner ads for their other services and sites. Would have appreciated more screenspace being used to show me profiles rather than the same flashing ads over and over again.
Worth Visiting?
If you don’t mind spending a few minutes on registration, love new windows being opened and have nothing against flashing banner ads, go for it.
Worth Subscribing?
For the two good profiles in my area?
