The address on Pecos is (was) a UPS store. The PMB part of the address stands for Private Mail Box. The store has closed. The company doesn’t currently have a mailing address. Apparently they never did have a physical office address.

This is the absolute WORST site I have ever encountered! Called on 1/21/10 to complain and get refund. HA!! It is 1/24/10 and still waiting for call back, I’m sure it won’t happen. All is not negative! I’m a real person – I’ve met real local women, and most seem to be reasonably normal. Yes, almost all lie about their ages, and post old photos to appear younger, but let’s face it – that’s what women do.
Sure there are scammers trying to work the system – just brush them off. On the whole, I’ve found this site to be a hundred times better than the other sites I’ve tried – more local listings, and more people currently active than other sites. Look me up!

However I have been contacted by many many men and have dated four of them. I have yet to meet a fake one. Ha ha but how could you meet a fake one! I am a 67 year old 115 pound 5’3″ woman with absolutely current photos in the site.
Anyway the people using the site are legit. But the site is not.
Also the real cost is 9.95 a month. I don’t where you found 29.95!

Be aware of men in their 60′s, widowed, and list their occupations as engineers. Their profiles are phony. They reply in broken English and are far too eager to meet “their soul mate.” I have complained to the AZ State Atty. General as well as to the company. No real response from either. It is a scam.

Sent in a money order 19 days ago (as I was wary of giving out my credit card). I was activated and could access my account for 5 days. Then it stopped and said that I had “invalid username or password”.
I have sent in about 20 emails, asking them to fix the problem, and giving them all the information they asked for. They still have not got me reactivated yet and are asking for the same information over and over again! Seems like they are staffed by complete morons.

SeniorPeopleMeet.com does have real people, and I have met some, BUT it is full of people stealing others pictures! Yesterday someone got into mine and changed my email, username and password! Tried to find a customer service number but of course THERE IS NONE, all complaints has to be sent via a message online. They did get with me and changed my password so I could log in and when I did I found someone had changed ALL MY PERSONAL INFO ABOUT MYSELF AND SENDING IT TO OTHERS!!! Senior people meet is defiantly not not on the up & up. Now I understand why I get so many women -who otherwise seem like a great match- look at my profile and do not respond. I suppose I look like a scammer although I am an engineer I am divorced not a widower. The few women that initiate contact Are half my age an have trouble expressing themselves in English. Does that make it a scam; not necessarily but overcharging my merit card the way they did does make it a scam. I only wish I had done my homework before signing up. My advice skip this one.

Scamming lonely older people has been going on for a long time. I am a sixty six year old man, and have met some interesting women through this site. Only one female scammer so far. I am sure that women on the other hand are getting targeted by scams on these sites with great frequency. If you can sift out the misfits and sociopaths, you just might find someone you like who is sincere and honest and lives within a reasonable distance.
DON”T WASTE YOUR TIME This is a deceptive and dishonest site. No one would pay if they continued to see advertisements on the site, local people are not so local, and you have to pay additional just to see if someone read your email and every other feature you would expect to get for paying. They charge you more than they advertise. There is nothing truthful about anything they state.
I sent in my renewal subscription for three months, they never renewed it. Now, I’ve got messages waiting I can’t get to. I sent the renewal notice in three weeks ago, check has cleared the bank, and still no access to the site. Wished there was a phone number I could call.

I had to write a follow up out of “fairness.” Senior Friend Finders just sent me an e-mail and apologized for their oversite, I’m now back up and going. This morning I rec’d a message from Seniorpeoplemeet informing that my email address with them has been changed. When I tried to login to the site my password is no longer valid.
Hecker changed my password and email address. I’m so worried that hecker will have my bank credit card information. I sent about more than a dozen emails to the customer service but no reply..

I joined Seniorpeoplemeet.com and after one week and about 20 hours on the site I was locked out. Customer service said my account was compromised and that I would have to use another email address and password. I thought this was total BS as simply changing a password should be sufficient. So something weird is definitely going on with their customer service department.
SO I just lost a week’s worth of my time and I must rebuild my profile again because those fools won’t reactivate the account under the old email address. I am filing a negative BBB report and filing a claim with the state attorney general’s office. And I will forward copies of my complaints to the Seniorpeoplemeet.com executives.

BEWARE this scam site, and others like it. As soon as you sign up, *someone* will send you an email and/or a flirt to entice you to pay for an upgraded account – just so you can see who sent the email/flirt. DON’T DO IT! If a site cannot at least show you who sent you the email/flirt, they are definitely trying to hide something.

I have been on the site for 3 weeks. Had about 20 or 30 “possibles”, 120 messages, and went out on coffee dates with 3 women. They were real and honest ladies. No sparks, but so what?

They insist on communicating via personal email (so they don”t gey caught) and will only call from withheld number for no longer than 1 minute. Following up with IAC, who bought this company; SPM is no longer endorsed by BBB. Irony? The guys I’d really like to meet are the ones posting a comment on this website!
