    The Good

Although the user experience left much to be desired, Singlesnet.com had a relatively clean design and photo quality was nice.

Other than that, I have nothing good to say about the site.

    The Bad

The search engine was a joke.

It had no options and results displayed were from every country in the world but mine! Even after I specified a region and city in the search options, I was still getting profiles from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Sure they seemed nice but Uzbekistan? Talk about a long-distance relationship!

    According to their search page:

Singlesnet.com takes the guesswork out of dating… we feed your information into our sophisticated compatibility matching technology identifying traits and similarities to find your true love.

It seems that their “sophisticated mating technology” has concluded that deep down I am really Uzbekistani (I am not, by the way). I guess I will have to work on nurturing my Uzbekistani nature.

I am not a fan of opening a new window every time I want to view photos (pet peave).

    The Ugly

    Requires onerous registration process.

They force you to go through this long process before revealing pricing details. My comment on Match.com explains why I dislike companies that hide their price list.

    Worth Visiting?

    No.

The poor search engine and useless search results were not worth the long registration process.

    Worth Subscribing?

    No.

I cannot recommend a company that requires registration to view prices.

Very limited. Not worth the money.

You can’t even search by age *AT ALL*.

*THEY* decide which ages and races you are going to meet.

    Very poor design.
